Teaching is my passion!

Trained in The Science of Reading, Orton Gillingham curriculum, as well as Common Core Math.

Specializing in dyslexic, ADHD, neurodivergent and neurotypical learning.

I am a certified tutor, a member of the National Tutoring Association with experience in teaching Common Core math, science and English to students of all ages. I have helped students prepare for exams such as SAT, ACT, GRE with a proven track record of success.

I particularly excel, and certified, in teaching IEP students/special needs students reach their full potential.

I am a graduate of University of New York, Albany (BA) and The Rockefeller College of Public Policy , University of Albany.

Interactive Learning

I believe that learning should be interactive and engaging. That's why I use a variety of teaching methods, including games, simulations, and real-life examples, to make learning fun and

effective.

As a literacy coach, I use Orton Gillingham approach to reading. It is a structured, multi-sensory, and sequential teaching method for literacy that helps people who have difficulty reading, writing, and spelling. It is often used with students who have dyslexia or are at risk for word-level disabilities.

Every student is unique. The Tutor Me Smarter strategy is to evaluate students and present a learning plan geared to the student's needs.

Methods are effective & evidence based , highly researched , multi-sensory teaching tools.

Our evidence-based instruction can close the gap of perfance and potential, thereby improving outcomes.

Online Tutoring

I offer both in person and online tutoring services to students . My virtual classroom is equipped with the latest technology, including a digital whiteboard and screen sharing, to make online learning as effective as in-person tutoring.
